Today my mom finally got her appointment to see a specialist up in Erie. She's been awaiting this consultation for about a year now.. and needs someone to advise her on her problems with her thyroid & parathyroid. About a year ago.. the doctor here recommended that she have surgery ASAP.. and it has never panned out. I'm not sure why it took so long... but it has. Anyway.. she is going on Tuesday, so I am anticipating lots of anxiety until then.
On the plus side, the massage is scheduled for Monday.. so hopefully that will help.
It is extremely overcast today, but it isn't raining. I hope to get out and about this weekend to take photos, so with any luck, the weather will be nice.
As a special treat ... my family sent me a "care package" -- which I got in the mail today. Thank God for pita chips, Nutella, and love from my hubby and kids.
