It's Maker Monday! --- my series of posts on Mondays that feature something I've made, and encourage the "maker" lifestyle.

This past weekend, I went to my first show of the year.... participating in a "pop-up" show during the Chainsaw Carver's Rendezvous in Ridgeway PA. A fellow artisan in the PA Wilds Artisan Trails will be opening up her pottery studio soon ((photos at the top of this post are of Your Fired Pottery studio; and owner/ artisan Stacie Johnson-Leske))... but opened up her studio space to 7 other artisans (plus her) in the PA Wilds to be able to show and sell their work to this international audience. It was extremely gracious of her, and both the daughter and I were honored to be able to show our work.

For this show, I concentrated on making new prints... 21 different Mandala designs created from my original photographs,
6 different prints stylized to look more like graphic posters from the 1930s, and some matted 8x10s and postcards.

Before we left Ridgeway, I stopped in at the ECCOTA gallery. I was juried into the ECCOTA gallery in 2014, and have been sorely neglectful of putting my work there; with the exception of a large printed photograph on canvas that I love. But no more. I now have lots of jewelry pieces, photographs, mandala prints, rosary rings and rosaries, and recycled envelope and cards sets now in the gallery space. So if you are in the Ridgeway area... please stop in and check them out.
