catching up

It's been really busy... and I am not complaining.
Having SLE (systemic lupus erythmatosis) does however complicate things sometimes; as my energy levels certainly go in spurts....
and sometimes I am just down and out.

In a matter of days... our local Potter County Artisan Center will be having it's Grande Opening; and I am pleased and proud to be one of the many featured artists there. We have all been working very hard towards getting the place up and running... and I believe, it will be a great asset to our community.

I have closed my Etsy shop for a couple weeks... having my yearly "spring cleaning"... which involves taking out some stock... putting in new items... revamping listings and photos as needed.... as well as researching trends and stats to see where activity lies and what needs tweaking. It's a process, and albeit... one I am not the best at... but I try.

And, I am trying to list things on Ebay that are more of the collectible/antique/ or just plain cool variety...
as well as gearing up for a big yard sale in May.

And of course, it's Easter... spring ... that great and majikal time when windows and doors are flung open and a lifetime (or so it sometimes seems) spent huddled inside from the winter cold ends... and things must be cleaned out and freshened up. We hope to do alot around the house in the next few months... not the least of which is starting and planting a garden space.

But I digress.
As always.... I am out and about with my camera most every single day...writing the (more than occasional) Haiku... and trying to make art and/or jewelry every single day. The hubby is busy at work on his book... and I couldn't be more proud of him.
The son is happy and doing well back in ABQ; as is the lovely Sophia (our granddaughter)... and our daughter here is doing well and enjoying rural living. And of course, Brina is more than thrilled that the snow is leaving the yard... and things can be sniffed.

Hope you are all well, safe, happy and healthy...
See you tomorrow.
