MondayUPs

Monday's can be rough... But I'm here to help.

In celebration of my 15th year selling my handmade stuff...
I am going to be featuring things I've seen on blogs, on the internet, in books
...wherever inspiration strikes! On making new items from old goods..
hence, MondayUPs (upcycling)...

I've always loved fishing... and come from a long line of fishermen (and women).
One of my earliest memories is standing on a chair at my grandmother's house...
and cleaning/gutting fish in her huge sink...
the weekend's haul; I presume... I think I was around 5yrs old.
Later, I would accompany my sister and her family on yearly trips to Canada
(on the premise of babysitting)... and enjoying the wild lakes... fishing... swimming... and boating.

Some of my fondest memories though...
are of fishing with my own kids... and my parents.

And so... this week... I thought I would focus links on things to be done with old fishing gear.

((the photo for the top of today's post is one I took many years ago
on a trip to Hawaii. Obviously old film... and the colors warped...
but I think it's cool))
