I love Amazonite. It's predominantly blue-green color makes it a fantastic soothing stone. It is thought to help with emotional trauma and alleviate worry and fear. It is also known as a stone of communication, helping one to to be calm... and speak/ know your own truth. The meaning of the name of this stone relates to the Amazon River, as it is a location where there are considerable deposits of the stone. It is also found in Madagascar, Russia, Canada, Namibia, Mozambique, Peru, India, Brazil and the USA.
