Today was a good day.

I was able to get my eyes checked (first time in about 8yrs)... and hopefully I will find an affordable pair of glasses online later this week. While my eyesight is slightly worse, my astigmatism is actually improved; and (in theory) my eyesight will continue to improve now as the years go on as opposed to getting worse. It's a modern day miracle... especially for someone like me who has been legally blind since I was little.

I was also able to stop into our local bookstore, and pick up a couple presents for folks for Christmas.

And of course, today is TACO TUESDAY at one of the local restaurants, so we've some fabulous brisket tacos for dinner.

Tonight I hope to rest a bit.... because tomorrow will be another busy day.
