And so on Wednesdays; I intend to post an old photograph to inspire your creativity. Write a poem! Plot out a short story!

To me, this feels like a college party photo.
I imagine this was a great escape off campus... perhaps in the early or mid 20s?
I think of my grandmother, who would have set out for college in 1926, at the age of 16;
having graduated with honors early... what was she thinking?
Could these have been some of her contemporaries?
What were they up to?
Do you think they had an inkling that the great depression would soon hit?
That perhaps for them, the hard times were ahead?
Or do you think... they were just enjoying this brief moment in time;
and not thinking beyond the morning ahead?
