for the weekend



...some times you can find beauty in the most unusual places.
Those deep dark recesses that make you wonder if the light has ever graced their door. Those sharp jagged-edge towns that are fighting to stay alive... mavericks in a wasteland of broken dreams. Sometimes I see it that way...

The other day; we were lost. I've always been "direction-ally challenged"... and we ended up in this tiny town that seemed comprised of several houses, a bar or two, a fantastic old train trestle bridge... and this glass recycling plant. And I've got to say, the sun setting in the hills and the light reflecting off of all that broken glass was rather magical.
