for the weekend

It's the weekend!
I've been trying to rest a lot this week because I've been sick.... and I find that I have missed many things that have been going on. I did, however, watch several episodes of "The Curse of Oak Island" ... which was pretty interesting.  I have a long fascination with Nova Scotia, and went on a driving trip to Peggy's Cove many years ago. I love it, and hope to go back there someday. The landscape is just stunning.

In the meantime though, autumn is winding down here on the hill; and the last blooms of the year are almost gone. And per my usual routine; I've gathered some links to share with you all:

*printable mandalas to color
*ancient trees brought back to life
*best books of 2015 and then there is this list too...
*a very cool instrument I just heard about
*some stunning photographs of elderly animals
*some interesting info on wild turkey
*recipe for no-knead english muffin bread
*some great NASA photos
*seems early to me...
*some pretty amazing honey bees

---and some blogs from my reading list:
Little Green Notebook
Lotta Helleberg
Loui Jover
Lynne Hoppe
Loveology
Love the Giver
Love Grows Wild
Love Stitching Red

Lia Griffith

I hope you all have a great weekend, and I'll see you back here on Monday for my "Maker Monday" post.
