why did the chicken cross the road?
in this case... it was to get some crab apples :)

Today I went on a ride over some of the backwoods here and saw...
a gorgeous hawk
lots of free-range chickens
a flock of about 25 wild turkey
wild ducks and a white goose
... the list goes on.

... and unfortunately... most of the photos did not turn out.
I guess I was too excited.

But as I was thinking about all the birds we saw...
I got to thinking about recycling/upcycling feathers;
so here are some ideas!

that are thoughtfully gathered... protecting the birds)
