It's summer.
And at least here in ABQ... lots of people wear flip-flops.
Coincidentally, I was at one of my fav shops here in ABQ...
and they feature art and products from all around the world,
and one of the items I fell in love with... was a fabulous basket made from pieces of recycled flip flops.
Yes, Flip-flops.
And so... today's post is all about recycling/upcycling old flip flops!
Here... artists have used flip flops to make baskets:
mats/rugs
jewelry!
and then there are sculptures, like this one:
