so... I'm another year older.

I would like to say, another year wiser... but only time will tell if that is true.

As I look back on the past few posts... I see alot of Haiku.

I am writing alot... and hope to (self) publish them in a book someday.

In the meantime...

Know that I am working on photos every day.

I cannot NOT make art.

I have been going thru some of my digital photo files... and have managed to delete over 8,000 of them so far. I hope to make room... so that I can start scanning in the vast hoard of photos that have been languishing in my closet for decades. At least... that is the goal.

Oh.. and some slides..... and lots of negatives. eeps.

I see this all as a "getting back to basics" kind of move on my part.... the continuing process of cleaning out and downsizing the stuff I have cluttering up my mind and my life. And trying to get better. My back has been a major source of frustration as of late... but at least the bronchitis has settled down and is almost gone.

I am grateful.

My friends and my family help me hold everything together... and without them I would be nothing.

I salut them! ... and the lovely garden that is bursting forth in the front yard :)
