I think this week I’ve been in a sort of ‘holding pattern’….. just treading water with things. Not really getting much done beyond the usual daily stuff…. but ‘working’ at resting more and such.

I think it’s probably all good…. but it does mean that I really don’t have anything ‘worthy’ to talk about. We did go out this weekend long enough to get some groceries… and to take a much appreciated stop at Barnes & Noble, as well as a ‘quick’ stop into Michael’s craft stores.

The gardenia is done blooming for the summer, I think. There were 2 more buds, but I woke to both of them having fallen off this am. I think it’s just been too hot for them. As far as I know, there are eggs in the Carolina Wren’s nest that has taken over the Snake Plant pot. I did glance up at our balcony from the parking lot this weekend, as we were going out and about…. and it made me really happy to see how lush and green our balcony space looks. And it does.

And the photo at the header of this post, is our ‘new’ dining space…. now that the art is pretty much all in place, the table is back where it belongs, and we have nice comfy chairs that I bought off the internet.
